COMMUNITY
Building trust and connections with likeminded men, in order to rewild, reclaim, and restore embodied masculinity.
SUPPORT
Writing permission slips for ourselves encourages others to develop the same permission to understand and embody their best and highest selves
PURPOSE
For too long, men have had to shoulder the rigors of life, while feeling alone. Many of us were not initiated into manhood and adulthood with the tools or role models that cultivate a healthy understanding of ourselves or our place and purpose in the world.
This group does not strive to define what "healthy masculinity" means or what it should look like in the world. Instead this group strives as a collective group of experimenters, permission slip writers, thinkers, and doers who are practicing the double work of shedding misconceived notions of masculinity, while simultaneously accessing the inner wisdom of what it means to be our most authentic selves.
Authenticity is not a thinking process. It is a feeling and experiencing process. The purpose of the group is to help all participants to feel safe enough to access his deepest wisdom and allowing ourselves to practice letting it rise and radiate outwardly.
We have zero religious or spiritual affiliation, yet we invite all to bring their beliefs into the soup in order to witness others and be witnessed in our truest and highest self.
Still not sure if this is for you? Reach out. I'd love to personally answer any questions you might have.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS

Details:
Sam Schofield leads a weekly 5K Friday group that meets throughout the Salt Lake Valley every Friday at 6 AM.
He hosts a signal chat and also posts the meet-up information every week on his Instagram page.
GROUP GUIDELINES
Confidentiality
Share only from your own experience without sharing the experience or vulnerability of another participant both within and particularly beyond the group gathering.
He hosts a signal chat and also posts the meet-up information every week on his Instagram page.
Photography
Photography is allowed and encouraged. Anyone wishing to not be featured in any photos will absolutely be honored by communicating to Tony or another regularly attending group member.
Honor Self
Feeling safe is each individual’s responsibility. Participation is completely voluntary. Leaning into one’s edges is an offering, but not an obligation. Make your own desired experience top priority at all times keeping in mind this can feel therapeutic, but it is not professional therapy.
Ownership
Speaking in “I” rather than “you” or “We all” statements helps cultivate ownership, while also honoring that each individual’s experience in life is unique. Consider the difference in saying, “I have road rage,” vs. “We all have road rage.”
Sacred Witness
Witnessing each other without judgement and bias is perhaps the group’s greatest strength. Refrain from advice giving and personal reflection without expressed consent.
Sales-Pitch-Free Zone
It is appropriate to inform the group of your talents, expertise, and offerings so long as it can be done without a sales pitch. Allow information to be the only invitation for each group members to pursue additional details.
